Welcome to the world of Winter Wander

our holiday concept album. We aspire to take you on a listening journey, and while you can certainly skip around to different tracks, this collection is best embraced from beginning to end.

The album opens with “Prelude — Winter Walk,” which sets the stage for our Winter Wander character as she prepares to embark on her travels and redefine the meaning of the holidays. One of the songs that inspired this album, “Winter Wonderland,” is transformed from its usual upbeat form into a more pensive, pared-down version.

Each time you see the word “Winter” in a track’s title, the theme returns, symbolizing our character. As her travels continue, the theme not only reappears but also transforms, shaped by each scene and experience she carries with her along the way.

Throughout the album, you’ll hear highly recognizable tunes such as “White Christmas” and “The Christmas Song,” alongside lesser-known holiday pieces including “Tu Scendi Dalle Stelle” from Italy, “Pat-a-Pan” from France, and “Betelehemu” from Nigeria. One holiday favorite we knew had to be included was “Silent Night,” inspired both by a version Kathy grew up listening to and by Genie’s memories of playing Catholic Christmas Mass in Chicago.

As we developed this project, we arranged pieces that reflected our desire for connection and unity — not only for ourselves, but for everyone. It is our wish that you love listening to Winter Wander as much as we loved creating it.
